I am beaming...I am happy....the local british car club had their show
today...I took my Spridget out (still looking for my Alpine) No prizes for
the spridget but none expected as it is a racecar not a show queen. But lo
and behold to my surprise the Series 3 I spent the last 5 months on for a
friend took first in class...I dont know who was prouder him or myself.
Still it was a local show...the car is not a beauty queen but it felt good.
Have some nice solid leads on some Alpines of my own. One would be a no
brainer if I wasnt moving in 7 months...great resto project, but to start a
full resto right before moving seems daunting...still....may have to do
it....thanks to everyone for all the leads and tips.
