Hmm. I have gotten 20,000 or less miles out of Ceats, and Pirellis, and
Kellys, and Goodyears. But Michelins? They don't make a "cheap" tire, but
I cannot recall ever getting less than 50,000 miles out of any one I've
ever owned, and I've gotten 100,000 out of a couple: when I had the car in
for inspection, they made me replace them, as they were getting rotted.
Still had good tread, just too old - they were around 12 years old.
Longevity? Michelin. Their old motto says it all: "we made it first, we
make it last".
And the Michelin "X" is the creme de la creme. I drive the lesser Michelins.
