Just got done talking to Smitty about the cam problem and he says the casti
iron head engine had the same firing order but the valves were in opposite
places on the 2/3 cylinders. So the cam has to come out. Smitty says to
remove it through the grill without disturbing the rest of the engine. Any
aluminum head series I-IV cam will work with the current configuration.
On the light side:
Advertise the full race Piper hot road grind and you'll make somebody's
