RE: The Frustration Continues

Eric,

I took a step back about 5 times during the weekend and verified that I was
in fact wired correctly, that I was at TDC, etc. The last guy at the garage
that FINALLY worked on my car is extremely knowledgeable. He has been around
for a quite a while and he was the one who finally figured it out. When it
supposed to be firing on 2 and 3 the intake valve is still open. He was
watching the valves move up and down while it was cranking. He said that it
appears that I have something like (I am most likely wrong here, I don't
have the car or the manual with me but you can get the idea) an
I,O,I,O,I,O,I,O manifold configuration while the cam is working with more of
an I,O,O,I,I,O,O,I manifold configuration. If I am reading Jarrid's response
correctly, it sounds like they changed that order around quite a bit and if
I am running a Series III cam with a Series V head I am screwed.

I will check the wires again once I get the car back.

Thanks,
Kurt
