Wayne,
Bleeding the air from the clutch cylinders is pretty tricky. What I
have done on my Alpine (and other vehicles with hydraulic clutches) is
to have the bleeding screw connected to a tube of fluid so that the
fluid will back-fill into the slave (when you are pumping the master).
The goal is to fill the tube and slave with fluid, then (it work for me)
close the bleeder and pump the pedal. The remaining air will bleed up
through the master and the slave will start being activated (start
moving). Keep pressing the pedal until all the movement is obtained in
the slave. It took me a long while until I have pressure in the slave,
so stay with it. A vacuum device connected to the line (removed from the
master) should help move some fluid up the tube. Question, why are you
using the dot 5 silicone brake fluid? Regular Castrol GTLMA brake fluid
should work just fine with no leaks.
