I got a phone call Fri from a guy I know from local british car events. He's
into MG and Jag, but just bought a Tiger parts car. He called to see if I
knew anyone who would be intetrested in purchasing the entire car. He is not
interested in parting out.
I went over to see it so I could give the info to the group if anyone is
interested. I have no connection to it and know nothing about it other than
what I could see and was told.
It is a parts car only. I suppose if someone wanted to make their Alpine a
Tiger this would be a good donor. Sheet metal and floors are rotted big
time. All drive train seems to be there other than the shifter is missing.
The windshield shows the last Pa inspection was in 1974 and the mileage was
about 35,000 at that time. It doesn't look like it went far after that. I
tried to get the numbers as best as I could.
Serial # B382001841 LRXEE
Sticker on valve cover: Engine 6665-b19kc Model C4Z6001-CP
It has a hard top, some rust, dented and missing rear window. Seat covers
were in decent shape. All guages out of dash and in a pile. Missing hood
and trunk. Decent rear bumper. Car looks like it has been sitting at least
20 years rotting away. He is asking $850.
Car is located in Erie PA. Owners name is Jack O'Neil, he can be reached at
814-864-6741.
Again, I have no connection but would help anyone in the group, interested in
the car. This group has been so helpful to me in the past, I would gladly
return the favor. You are welcome to Email me if you have any questions or
contact Jack direct.
