After an enjoyable 2 hour Sunday drive yesterday and a 2 hour
cooling down period in the garage my Alpine will not start. I put an
inductive timing light on the coil wire and all four spark plug wires
and I show no spark in the first and second plug wires ( closest to
radiator). The wires test around 7000 ohms, I changed the distributor
cap and I cannot get the # 1 plug to arc while grounding. The plug shows
about 4000 ohms resistance ( I think)That's as far as I've gotten. Any
suggestions on where to proceed when I get home tonight?
