Hey piners,
I got a pleasant surprise when I got home from work on friday night.
My wife went out bargain shopping, and fell upon an estate sale near
our house.
Of the many items that were for sale, it appeared that the former
owners were car buffs, and also collected miniature cars.
My wife rummaged through an extensive collection of "matchbox" like cars
and happened upon a gold colored early alpine.
It was made by husky, and in pretty good shape.
Mostly correct looking, exept it was sort of a cross
between a SII and SIII, as it was a pointy fin car, had side wings on the
doors, but has rounded side windows alla SII.
The wife paid $10 for it (they wanted $20), which although is
surely in line, I wonder what lead the sellers fo believe that
the car was worth that kind of cash.
