A low cost swap is with a rear end out of a 73 Mercury Capri. The width
restricts wheels to stock rear wheels and the capri drive shaft is the same
diameter as the sunbeam so you can cut and weld the pieces together . The 4
cyl had a 3.70 rear, the V6 stick had 3.50 and the automatic V6 was 3.30 I
had one in a Sunbeam and it was easy to adapt as the ebrake is similar and
the wheel bolt pattern the same, even the wheel cylinders are the same!
