Maybe the servo is bad or disconnected. With a working servo the
braking effort should be minimal. Mine require very little pressure
and stop quite well.

You can buy seat foundations from Sunbeam Specialties (408) 371-1642.
They are a great outfit and have excellent knowledge and customer
service.

I'm not sure what you're missing here. Is it the trunk or bonnet
(hood) latch mechanism or the striker? Do you mean "the part on the
boot cover is still there?" If you are looking for the actual latch
mechanism then you will have to buy used, you can get used ones from
Smitty's Sunbeam, (619) 233-7937, or perhaps SS has one. If you want
the striker, Classic Sunbeam (classicsun(at)aol.com), has new ones.

I don't think that MG wheels fit an Alpine, but I could be wrong.
Perhaps you have Capri wheels on it, which are a perfect fit. There
are many sources for aftermarket wheels and steel wheels are still
quite plentiful, though hubcaps can be hard to find in good condition.
Again, try Smitty for used wheels.
