Wheel stud length

I know the subject of wheel studs was discussed on the tiger list
recently but I didn’t see any discussion regarding stud length and wheel
spacers.

I am running VB minilite replicas and had planned to use SS’s 5/16”
aluminum wheel spacers to widen the rear track a bit. To make up for
the loss of useable length of the wheel studs, I had hoped to find
replacement wheel studs that were at least 1/4” if not 5/16” longer than
stock. No such luck, yet. With the spacers in place on the stock studs,
I am only getting about 3/8” of thread contact. Surely this can’t be
enough. None of the local auto part stores show my current stud let
alone a longer one with the same shoulder diameter.

What I need is a stud with the following dimensions:
Stud diameter = 7/16”
Shoulder diameter = .451”
Stud length (excluding head) = 13/4”+ (stock = 1.5”)

Can anyone help point me to a source?
