All the fasteners on the Alpines are US fine thread. I think the seat
retaining bolts are 5/16-24. I always chase the threads to clean out the
rust. I use a cordless drill and chuck the tap into it and run it back
and forth a few times in the threaded hole and your ready to install a
new bolt.
