Revell Alpine

I just got the Revell model Alpine, SIII, 1/32 scale (the body is just over
4" long). The box shows a copyright date of 1968. It's neat, but some of
the proportions are off. The windshield is too low and the grill is too
big. On the side they show pictures of a bunch of other models from the
series including MGB, AH 3000 and TR4. The MGB probably looks the closest,
but the AH and the TR4 windshields are way too high - which is funny
because my complaint with the "real" Alpine has always been that the
windshield was too high and upright compared to the other sports cars.

Over all, it's not as nice as the AMT Tiger model, also later known as the
Blueprinter model. But, its a SIII none the less. And it comes with a
proper 4 cylinder engine with dual carbs.
