Just got back tonight (Mon.) 1500 miles back to Chicago. My Series II didn't
fare too well in the Concours or the Autocross (didn't spin it or take any
cones out though). I did take my Dad for a ride in one run. Considering
that I rescued this car from the jaws of the crusher only 2 years ago, I feel
pretty good that it was there at least!!! My dad also had a BLAST all week
and really didn't know a Tiger from a Hillman Husky... We had no MAJOR
troubles. I DID have to drive all the way back from Yellowstone on the
battery 'cuz the generator died in W. Yellowstone. Good thing I bought a
good battery! Drove it all the way back and into the trailer and it still
started. Sorry I missed the meeting of the listers Weds. night, but the
presentation went long and I was beat! I second the congrats to you Jerome
for the work on the web site, great job. Hope to see the Sunbeam(!) at the
next one.
Hope everyone else had as good a time as we did! I'm sure you did. For
those that didn't get there, too bad...
