The shop, that Doug Jennings and myself takes our tanks for interior
coating, uses a red material that is recommended by BMW. The "Kream tank
coating", found at most motorcycle shops, is not as good as the
commercial materials used by the better gas tank repair shops. I don't
have confidence in using the Kream material and doing it yourself. Let a
pro do it.
