You appear to be confused in that the steering cross bar and tie rod ends
are two different areas and parts. The steering cross bar on all Alpines
connecting the left and right sides across the firewall is a one piece with
removable and restorable rubber bushings. The actual tie rod ends (inner and
outer attach to the steering arm bolted to each wheel
