Weber Carbs

Hello Again Alpines:
Now that I've got my overdrive semi-sorted out, on to carburation. I've
decided to ditch my Strombergs and go to a single Weber. Sunbeam
Specialties sells a Weber 32/36 DGA. It has been suggested that I
instead use a Weber 38/38 which is in effect a 2 barrel double pumper.
Is anyone out there using either setup? I'd be concerned the 38/38 may
be too much carb for the 1725 engine (which has been bored out a bit
with .60 over pistons, etc.).
