Stereo

I discovered why my stereo was sucking so much juice from my electrical
system. My power feed from the battery was too small!! I used a 10
gauge wire from the solenoid to feed the amp. Call the amp
manufacturer to ask what my problem was and the guy said my amp was
sucking power like soda through a straw. Changed the wire over to 4
gauge and, voila, problem solved.
Now, however, my ammeter now shows +35 amps whenever I turn the stereo
up. I'm afraid I'll overheat and burn out the alternator if I do this
too long, so I've not been running it. Looks like I may need another
battery, or perhaps a 1ƒ stiffening cap.
