Just got my new Weber from SS, and a manifold to replace my Strombergs that
wouldn't keep an idle after my engine fire. Any tips on
installing/adjusting??? I'm not even sure which is idle adjustment and
which is fuel mixture, and "Yes", I probably should take it to a mechanic,
but that would take all the fun out it. That's why I bought the car. Any
info on the carb on the web?
Found the cause of the fire. Gas was pouring out of the gas line T fitting.
Replaced it with a new plastic T, and had the same problem(another small
fire!) Replaced that with hoses, clamps, and a brass T, but ran like hell.
Done with the Strombergs.
