Got a few questions:
* Got my new harmonic balance and it is bare metal. Was this originally
black like most of the engine parts? I'm taking a bunch of stuff to have
powder coated Monday and was going to include this item. I wonder if the 400
degree heat in the bake oven will effect the rubber sandwiched in the pulley?
* I am doing a Series 3, anybody out there have a "bezel" for the gas filler
neck? I have the filler neck, but don't have the parts to connect it to the
body. I think this includes a "chrome bezel" and some kind of grommet inside
the body. Anybody have a lead on a series three being parted out?
* Anybody restored their leaf springs out there? What is the best method.
Should I take them completely apart and paint individual leafs and then put
them back together or should I just clean and paint. And, if I do take them
apart, are the rubber pads under the clamps available? Or is there something
else to use.
