I have the SS stainless exhaust sold by Rick & Curt. I can't imagine
it being any different than the Falcon system. I happen to like very
much the sound it makes, though I do not experience the resonant
frequency that you do. Perhaps the pipes are not mounted with rubber
bushes between the pipes and the body? I can picture a metal to metal
mounting causing your problem, but not much else.
I'm not certain what a resonator does. If I were to guess, I'd say it
determines the type of sound you get and the muffler then quiets it a
bit.
