I have installed a 90 amp, internally regulated Bosch alternator
(thanks, Jon Artz) in my SV. Here's my problem.
When the ignition switch is in the ON position, the warning light comes
on. When the switch is moved to the START postion, the light stays on.
But when the alternator kicks in after the engine has started the
warning light goes out. Another indicator is that when the car runs on
(another problem I can't seem to fix) after I turn the car off, the
light comes on and stays on until the engine cuts out (key in OFF
position).
The alternator worked normally (warning light on when car is running)
up until a day ago.
Can anybody tell me what's going on and what to do to fix it?

ps- I tried the diode fix for running on I had found in a tech tip
somehwere, but it didn't solve the problem. Must not be electrical?
