ADMIN: bouncing messages

Greetings all. Believe it or not, I am really still here. I've just
sorted through over 100 bounced messages from the Alpines list. About
half were spam. The other half were mostly bounced due to HTML
formatting. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft
Outlook Express, or Netscape Navigator for email, you MUST disable
HTML on the Options page of your mailer. The mail server doesn't
allow messages containing HTML to be posted to the list. You might
have seen a notice about this, I sent a few to the offenders.

Right now I'm going to update the Alpines 'welcome' message to include
this information.

See you all at SOS next weekend.
