    It didn't have one. The original steel line had a two loop coil down by
the slave cylinder, to allow for flex and vibration in the driveline. If the
coil is there, it's probably an original pipe. The crack in the flare isn't
unusual, probably more from the many times it's been loosened and tightened
than from vibration. It isn't hard to bend a new one, I just wish I had easy
access to the copper-alloy brake pipes the Brits use!!
