Evercoat makes self adhearing sound deadening panels. They are thin yet
very dense.
It's what the guy that did the sheetmetal work on my serII used and they
are available at any body shop supple company as well as automotive
paint distributors.
Remember you don't have to do an entire panel. The sheets actually work
by reducing the transfer of vibration through the sheetmetal not by
blocking the sound out so covering 2/3 of the inside of a door panel or
putting a sheet in each wheel well and on each side of the hump on the
floor as well as on and in front of the back shelf should do you fine.
