Why muck about with half measures? Why reinvent the wheel?
If you really wanna get the old pucker factor up there, why not just get ahold
of Tony Divey over in Olde Blighty and buy a TriKing and have done with it?
Having ridden with Tony in an 85 hp Moto Guzzi powered TriKing at just over
110 mph I can assure you that it felt like at least 150 mph and I am sure that
the 110 hp version would actually do 150 mph which would feel like... I
shudder to even contemplate it!
Proven design, street legal, tube frame, glass body (such as it is), V-twin
motorcycle engine (none of those trashy sounding 4's!), less than 1000 pound
dry weight (the 800 pound version may be out by now), two seater, either chain
or shaft driven, either m/c or auto tranny... It is an experience!
Now, of course, you will need to get used to the idea of insane speeds reached
on "only" three wheels... But, hey! All the components have been proven to
work together for over 20 years.
