I will agreee with everything except the spring loaded part. There should be a
black hindged plate holder (aproxamately the size of UK plates) attached just
below the front bumper. It is held in place by a wing nut at the top. When the
wing nut is removed the plate will swing down to allow access for the starting
crank. I've never seen one that was spring loaded though. Only Series I & II
have this type of plate bracket. - Ian
