Just picked up a Series III GT yesterday with a bunch of spares.
The car is stripped with all parts in boxes(as near as I can tell
complete),no rust, minor bodywork needed, but the color was in the process of
being changed.
It was originally #61-Quartz Blue metallic. It now has a light blue engine
compartment(new 1725 installed) I got a gallon of the light blue(urathane)and
don't know how hard it will be to get a mix for the Quart-blue.If I could
find the right color,Imight be tempted to pull the engine and start over with
the "correct" color.
Something to think about at least.Anyone out ther ever get a modern code for
#61?
I need to sell some of the spares to be able to pay for my new beastie so I
will post a list soon.I know I have an extra H/T with all trim just some
dents on top-NO rust.
Cylinder heads single carb and dual downdraught manifolds, several sets of
150CD's,three 1725's and one 1600 block w/cranks pistons camsShort blocks-all
used.
Any clues for the paint mixing would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin Rodgers
