I am an owner of an 1962 Alpine and a 1965 MG Midget.

The 1500cc Triumph Spitfire engine was the same as used in the later
Midgets so the manifold would fit a Triumph or later Midget.

On this engine the carbs are on the right hand side (early 1275 and below
Midgets were on the left) whereas the carbs on an Alpine are on the left
which may or may not be a problem. However the fact that Midget engines
have only two inlet ports and three outlet and Alpines have four each would
make the conversion impossible with this manifold unless it has been
seriously modified.

If the advert read 'Triumph Series V Spitfire' it would make perfect sense,
maybe a confused seller?
