Alpine/MG manifold

Currently on ebay someone is advertising a manifold and twin stromberg
150 CD's which he says are from a "Triumph series V sunbeam alpine". He
also claims that the manifold will fit a 1500 MG midget. Is this the
case or not. I'm doubtful but if this is true then the manifold and twin
SU's of the MG might be a carb option for us. Does any one know?.
