If you checked your hydraulics and your linkage is moving, as Rob suggested, you
are probably suffering from a stuck or frozen clutch. Other listers have
suggested putting the car in gear on a level spot and gently rocking it back and
forth, and if this doesn't do it, put the car in second gear and start in gear,
then depress the clutch and apply the brake once you are rolling.
The problem was likely caused by moisture and corrosion/dust freezing the clutch
plate and pressure plate together while unused.
