Some Sunbeams were produced at the Jensen factory in West Bromwich,
some at the Rootes facility in Coventry. Your car's serial number ID
plate will tell you.

SAL = Sunbeam Assembly Line
JAL = Jensen Assembly Line

All the production Tigers are JAL.

I wasn't aware that any Alpines are JAL, but some might be.

In addition to the Tiger and P-1800, Jensen also built the Austin-Healey
3000. Not sure about the 100/4 and 100/6. The loss of the Tiger
contract and the Healey 3000 contract at about the same time was a
financial blow to Jensen from which they never recovered. Wait,
is the Alpines list or the Jensen list? OK, never mind, end of
Jensen history lesson.
