I guess today's the day for realizing mistakes. I previously reported that
the 1725 Workshop Manual has a large gap guage that is supposed to measure
the gap between the top of the bottom A-arm and the bottom of the edges of
the metal stop for the rubber snubber above. This gap is supposed to be
measured with 300 pounds hanging off the front on the bumper. So, my
measurement of 3.25" at that gap without that 300 pounds is largely
usesless.
