Took the wife and kids up to Monterey this last weekend. I go back up on
Saturday. But, that gives me 5 nights and one full day to push through on
my car. Sometimes I think I'm going to get it done, sometimes I think I
need another month. You know what it's like - those little things that are
supposed to take 10 minutes, but something goes wrong and it needs hours,
not to mention two or three trips to the hardware store. I think the
insides of the doors are what are going to be my biggest time eater to go.
On the plus side, since everyone is gone, I took off the hardtop, which has
just been resting on towels on top of the car since it got delivered (and
put it in the house!). And, all of a sudden the car pumped up and came to
life. Don't get me wrong, the hard top is nice an all. But, it really
needs to be topless to give off that faithful 'beam.
