Yes, when the sump on the 1725 was changed from steel to the aluminum one on
the Hunters and Alpine GT's the gaskets set was changed. You need to
purchase the sump set that is specific to the Series V. Alpine. The Series
I-IV had its own pan gasket set as well.

Did Chrysler/Rootes continue to sell the Series V pan set for use on
steel-panned fastback Alpine Coupes and Sunbeam Arrows, or was there a new
designated set for them as well?
