I need help with a WIndows 3.1 problem. My Windows has stopped recognizing
the .exe, .bat, .com, .exe files. For instance, if I double click on any of
the above I get a path not found or missing components. I cannot run things
like PKUNZIP.EXE, or even command.com by clicking on it or even going to
program manager and selecting run and telling the windows what to execute.
I suspect that I have deleted a critical file or one has become hosed in
some manner.
Anybody know what if any of the windows files handles this routine? Prolly
a DLL file?
Anybody know if I can reisntall Windows 3.1 over the top of what I have and
still keep all of my groups and win.ini, system .ini files?
How can I recover? RC Cola and a Moon Pie to the first one who can help me...
