I don't know of anything but using a strap-wrench around the crankshaft
pully. A friend could hold the strap-wrench, while you turn your spanner
on the pulley nut. I'm pretty sure the thread is right-hand too. For
more leverage, slip a piece of pipe over the spanner's handle and show
it who is the boss.
