Does anyone have a single DCOE sidedraft on their Alpine? I am going to put one on my car and would like to hear from other Alpine owners. My main question is which is better for a stock motor- a Weber 45 DCOE or a Weber 40 DCOE? Car you change the throttle bores in a 45 to make it a 40 or a 38? Thanx.

I am starting to think for a stock engine it may be too much carb. I have a 45 and a 40 for my car. I will try the 45 first and if it bogs, I will try the 40. ------------------------------

Well, my mechanic tells me that a pair of 45's are too much carb for
my car so...if your still interested in the Weber I was selling on ebay
it's yours for $250 plus shipping.
