         Do you really want my comments??? :)

         My experience with upholstering last year on the Alpine was an eye
opener. The Scottish leather was $1,000.00 a skin alone and I had the
entire interior, not just the seats, done in it. It required two skins and
if I had to do it again, I would only do the seats as it was done when
manufactured. What I did was overkill.

         I'm not sure what the name is for the original material around the
seat skirting, backs of the seats and door panels but I would suggest using
another less expensive material that matches the leather. Perhaps Naugahyde
(sp) is just as good these days and likely less expensive. Whichever way
you go, upholstering is not cheap.
