Hi all-
This is a question for all you Ford 2.8 L V-6 Alpine conversion owners.
I need to change the original rear end for a Ford 8" rear. The original
ratio is such that I get about 9 miles to the gallon on the freeway...
you can smoke the tires in second gear if you are not careful.. The
question is what is the proper rear end ration for my conversion? I
think it's 3.0 : 1 I want a touring car not a 1/4 mile rubber burner.
Also form what I understand the Ford 8" has the same wheel bolt pattern?
Thanks in advance,
Lance Brown
