Lance,
The 8" Ford rear end does have the same bolt pattern, but with 1/2"
bolts instead of the 7/16" Alpine bolts. It also has larger drum brakes.
I haven't completed the 2.8 transplant yet, but I would check with the
Tigers and see what they run. Did you shorten the axle yet? It might be
easier to just find a Tiger rear end. The '88-'87? Turbo-Tbird has the
8" rear, but with disk brakes, but they are in high demand by the
Mustang owners.
