Well yesterday we finally pulled the tranny and clutch/pressure
plate..The cure for the problem was a factory defect or defective
personal in the factory.. They lekt in the small fitting jigs that sets
the distance between the pressure fork and the mounting ..
Two came loose while the first test drive and were flopping around in
the pressure springs and the third we pulled out with pointy plyers.
Got it all back togather and went on a 50 mile trip in the hills . Went
great and Tony that tranny is a great shifter too! Thanks to you.
Now the speedo jumps from 40 --65 at 3000 rpms. and the hooteers never
did but thats next..
What ever happened to the work on it 8 hours and drive 1hr ratio??
~(8=)
cheers
Happy chuck and a very happy Jane.
