These engines are a real upset especially if you have to rebuild an engine
with matching # to your chassis #
"Between 1954 and 1965 some engines may be found to have .125" oversize main
bearing tunnels. Suitable bearings and thrust washers are not manufactured"
This quote comes from a Repco bearing catalogue. Repco , read "Replacement
Parts Co" manufactured bearings etc in Australia for Rootesmobiles

Another quirk I've heard re Arrow 1725cc engines with ":France": cast on the
block is that a "Standard" bearing is already -.010"

Only OEM parts will be applicable to these "oddballs"
