Anyone got any tips for lining up the link between the throttles on
downdraught Zeniths.
My rear carb sticks on small throttle opening. Remove the link between
carbs and it's free. Obviously the link is putting something out of
alignment. Butterfly looks central in the throttle plate, and is very
smooth off the car.
Any tips, tricks most appreciated. Should the alignment be done before
the carbs are fitted? How? Should the carbs be aligned square on the
manifold, tightened and then linked together, or is it best to fit
everything loose then tighten it wherever it settles?
Why, oh why isn't the coupling rod flexible???
Cheers,
Paul.
