Glen,

I have just finished installing a P6B 3500S engine in my wife's MGB and
am having
problems blowing out oil filters. I am using a remote oil filter
adapter (required on MGB V8 conversions) and when the engine
is cold it will blow the top out of the oil filter. The engine oil
pressure is around 50 lbs. when warm so my suspicion is the
pressure is too high. Do you have any reference that gives the correct
pressure? Any suggestions on what might be causing
this if not the oil pressure?

As a note, my other MGB V8 has the Buick 215 engine and it runs oil
pressure at 25-30 lbs. when warm.

Thanks again for all your help.
