They are interchangeable, but the timing marks are different, so you
have to cut a new groove in the balancer, or put different marks on the
cover. A real plus is that the V6 timing cover uses a neoprene front
seal instead of the rope seal that always seems to leak.  You can use
either the 215 oil pump base or the later, angled metric pump. This pump
base swap can be done on the 215 cover as well.
