Very replacable. Precision-sized bearings should be readily
available in DuraBond brand, others also? They are probably the same as
Buick 300, maybe others as well. Replacement involves driving old ones out
and new ones in with a special tool. Not a tough job with that
tool--definitely not recommended with anything homebrew unless you are a
good toolmaking machinist. For what it's worth, several people, including
Dan LaGrou, of D & D Fabrications, recommend not changing them unless they
are badly scarred. Wear is not a big problem, apparently.
