Nice job. Did you move the radio higher to clear the heater? I have a "new"
radio in the original location in my 66 cut a bit larger to fit thru the
plate. It fit fine.
On my 68, however, I tried to use a new radio in the sideways position, and
new radios are way too long to fit, and the old mini chassis radios they used
to make are no longer available. So I will keep looking in junk yards for
old mini chassis AM/FM radios.
