Do you think maybe it was the noise of the tires spinning on the asphalt
that attracted their attention. I know when I first purchased this 67.5
2000 with the Solex Carbs. I had to go to traffic court to defend myself
because it was thought I was driving excessively over the speed limit. I
mean 60 in a 30 and I was only in third gear. If he had waited until I was
in fifth gear I would probably still be paying the fines. Just could'nt
seem to make my foot listen to my brain. Had to wind out the tachometer
every time I drove the car. Listening to the Exhaust take me into
Excitement. Talk about a Low Rider, this is it. I have ridden in many fast
cars. Altho they were fast, the excitement in this Roadster is like no
other car I have been in. Now all I need is a small ( or Large) fortune to
get it back on the road. I hav'nt driven the car for almost 20 years due to
a motorcycle Headon accident I had with a VW dune buggy. I was on the
Motorcycle without a helmet. It has taken this long to recuperate. Anxious
to get restoration to begin.
