  Besides the compression check, if you're getting oil in your coolant, you 
might want to check the oil also for coolant leaking in. You'll see some 
"frothing" in the oil too.  If you can't see it on the dipstick, maybe pull the 
pan and take a looksee.  I hope it's not the headgasket.  PIA.  You might also 
want to take a look at the torque on your headbolts just to see if one hasn't 
loosened up maybe?
  Another potential obvious one might be the thermostat. If you haven't already 
check that one.  Ron's right, definitely check the obvious first before pulling 
half the engine apart.
